Miles Metal’s black annealed steel wire is drawn from high quality low carbon steel wire rod, which are drawn, pickled, dried and annealed at high temperatures, which changes the internal structure and properties of the material, finally giving the wire excellent ductility. Miles Metal will oil each roll of black annealed wire so that it is free of rust when it is handed over to our customers. Black annealed wire can be used for construction work, rebar tie reinforcement and many other uses.
